Project management that requires oversight of design and construction process for multiple smaller, less complex scope and scale projects across all aspects of the university including educational, athletic, medical, and auxiliary work.
Assume programmed work from Planning, hire on consulting Architectural/Engineering firms to produce permit and bid documents, procure construction services, oversee construction, move manage, and readily resolve warranty period issues.
Serve as developing project manager. Manage budget control, contract negotiation and execution of material procurement. May plan and administer capital improvement projects. Review and analyze project cost data and other numeric data.
Provide field supervision, construction management, contract compliance and client and contractor project coordination.
Follow University methodology of delivering work in compliance with the P+D+C’s Project Manager’s Manual, OFCC guidelines, and University Standards.
May provide direct and/or indirect supervision to exempt and non-exempt staff (i.e., hiring/firing, performance evaluations, disciplinary action, approve time off, etc.).

Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture or related field.
Seven (7) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
Three (3) years of related experience.
