To safely and efficiently collect, transport, and unload campus recyclable and compostable materials. This involves driving and operation of large compaction and dump trucks and pickup trucks with dump trailers, and transporting and unloading containers such as rolling carts, large wooden or metal cages, or rear-load dumpsters. The amount of campus recyclable and compostable material collected annually is continually increasing and this is a critical part of the UT Recycling program which prevents waste from going to the landfill, saves money, generates revenue for the University, and demonstrates that UT is indeed going green.
